Promix Nutrition has been working with PostPilot to reach all their customers since 2022—both those who are subscribed to email/SMS and those who are not.
And over time, the team has only been building on their past successes with direct mail.
We’re thrilled (and honored) to be one of Promix’s long-term partners and to have helped support the team in their growth.
Here are some of the retargeting and retention tactics that have driven that growth.
The Tactic: Direct mail’s superpower: reaching the otherwise unreachable. Sending postcards to buyers who unsubscribed from email 30–60 days ago.
Added bonus: the targeted customers here only purchased once, so these one-time buyers are now multibuyers.
Another added bonus: the ROAS is ridiculously high.
The 4x6 Postcard:
The Tactic: A direct mail classic for a reason. We fire off postcards to Promix’s VIP customers who last purchased 60 days ago—scheduled based on Promix’s own time between orders data.
In other words, they’re getting the right offer to the right customers at the right time.
The 4x6 Postcard:
The Tactic: Another direct mail classic. 5 days after an almost-buyer abandons their cart, they receive a postcard as a little nudge to complete the purchase.
PostPilot Team Note: Adding a postcard to the end of your email abandoned cart flow is a surefire way to plug your purchase funnel further and drive revenue that would otherwise be lost.
The 4x6 Postcard:
The Tactic: Leading into BFCM, sending postcards to customers who last purchased 540–730 days ago and who are unengaged or unsubscribed from email/SMS.
The beauty of direct mail shines here: even if a customer hasn’t purchased in a long time and can’t receive any of your owned marketing, you can still send them direct mail.
PostPilot Team Note: BFCM is the perfect time to target those seemingly long-lost customers with your best offers, win them back, and bring them back into the fold.
The 4x6 Postcard:
The Tactic: Using PostPilot’s proprietary dataset, sending handwritten postcards to customers in the United States on their birthdays—whether or not they are subscribed to email/SMS.
No loyalty program needed. No birthday collection needed.
