Speak the same language and get an understanding of the types of reports they're building and start to sort of map your models and your KPIs around what they're reporting and their financials and what they're reporting up to the board. And that's gonna help make these conversations go a lot smoother.
But you also have to build that case to the CFO. You have to help get them to understand what the investment is that you're looking to make and why. And you might have different goals. You might have short-term goals, long-term goals. And you have to help educate that CFO as to what the plan is and how you're going to measure success.
